Kathryn James

Kathryn has spent her career organising travel arrangements for overseas visitors to the UK.  Much of this time was spent working for Insight Vacations where Kathryn’s main focus was taking care of Insight’s customer arrangements during their stay in the UK.  Additionally, she dealt with all aspects of their tours from hotels, private guides and special arrangements. Kathryn was responsible also for implementing superior customer service throughout the company.

During her time at Insight, she also worked overseas promoting Insight tours to the travel industry and general public.  This also involved escorting tours around the UK and Europe.  Kathryn built up a base of clients, particularly the Malaysian Tourist Office and their associates who would use her knowledge and contacts when bringing groups into the UK for promotional and business purposes.

In more recent years she has used her knowledge to teach overseas students the intricacies of the UK travel and tourism industry.
